30 speakers are lined up ready to provide stimulation for the ecotourism conference in just over 2 weeks time. There is an excellent range of speakers from North Island operators Hilary Sheaff and Robert Franklin from Walking Legends to local Nelson operators Maryann Ewers & Bill Rooke from Bush and Beyond. Industry experts range from tourism futurologist Ian Yeoman, Lianna Stupples from the Hikurangi Foundation and Al Morrison Director general of DoC. Check out their details here http://www.ecotourismnz.com/ecotourism/Speakers-09/

We had an excellent 2 days at the beginning of the month in Nelson at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology. The food was amazing and the venue worked really well for the conference. The keynote speaker Bruce Poon Tip wowed the audience with his inspiring opening to the conference. A range of community activities as part of their tours illustrated how GAP has differentiated themselves from their competitors by offering many unique ecotourism experiences. We are hoping to get Bruce’s presentation onto the web site soon.
